Born: 16 June 1993
JORDAN ALDERTON
I was brought up on a cattle and game ranch until 2000, when the government acquired the land.    I live with my parents and sister on Humani Ranch, in the Save Valley Conservancy, where my parents work.
I started school as a boarder at Murray MacDougal Primary School in Triangle. I did well in sports and made all the 1st teams, as well as being Swimming Captain, Prefect and winning the Fellowship Award.
I then went to Peterhouse. I swam in 1st Team and have swum in both junior and senior Nationals. Academics are not my strong point. I prefer sports, outdoor activities and practical work.
At the end of 2009, I went to Chifuti Safaris on a one week course, which I enjoyed. Also in grade 6 at Murray MacDougal, I went on a one week “bush trip” to Malilangwe.
I enjoy being outdoors, motor-cross, hunting and riding. I have been on a lot of hunts. I have also videoed an elephant bow hunt and have been on a leopard hunt, where I handled the specialized dogs.
