In all cases, resident professionals, as well as guest instructors are utilised to offer the young men training which is both practical and current. The candidates will be encouraged in an entrepreneurial approach to their new- found skills, so that practical knowledge can be translated into business- building.
The structure of the course is divided into five main modules (acumen) which we believe to be the building blocks for success:
Courses within the natural acumen module are specifically focused on teaching students the fundamentals of fauna & flora, game farming and animal husbandry as well as building towards a Hunters and Guides learners license.
The adventure, eco-tourism and health & fitness module is an essential part of the course. It ensures that students all build up to and maintain a basic level of fitness, essential for physical well-being of students, while also helping them develop the mental toughness to conquer their fears.
Courses with a technical focus include mechanics, welding, construction, architecture & design, plumbing, and electrics. Course modules are focused on providing students with practical skills that are immediately tested and applied in real-life scenarios.
