Reflections on The Second Semester.
By Ross Scott-Riddle of Cousteau Tent
Time has gone by inexplicably quickly. It is hard to believe that we have finished our second semester already and that our last one is about to begin. Our term was diverse, as usual, with the extremities physically in the case of Iron Will, to the extremities mentally with business acumens. We have gone high up on the beautiful Silozwe peak in Matopos and far North to the magnificent Lake Malawi (which was definitely the highlight of the term). We have battled through the increasing cold weather at Quiet waters and are now expert boiler-fire makers! In short, we have survived all challenges thrown at us in many different parts of the country (and Continent), we have met amazing people, done incredible things and all in our Quest Africa style. We have grown closer as an intake and I’m sure that next term will be just as, if not more, eventful and we are all looking forward to it. For now though, a relaxing break will do us all good. From myself and the rest of Intake 2 Goodbye, Totsiens, Au Revoir, Auf Wiedersehen.
