OUR CAMPUS

Quest Africa is situated in its own conservation area in the heart of the Mulungwane hills in Southern Zimbabwe (the closest town is Esigodini, about an hour from Bulawayo). The campus stretches over 2000 hectares of land known as the Quiet Waters Wilderness Estate.

We are very fortunate to live in this wilderness area while also having access to the sporting and medical facilities of Falcon College, including the gym, swimming pool, pitches, basketball, tennis and squash courts, sanatorium, chapel, ICT and design facilities as well as the school library.

Students are accommodated in purpose-built tented accommodation situated on the picturesque  banks of the Tetete River, with each tent accommodating 3-4 students. Alongside the student accommodation are thatched eating and socialising facilities, with braai and campfire sites and a 'bush' gym. It is a short walk to swimming or fishing in one of the Quiet Waters dams, and the students have walking, running and cycling on their doorsteps.

Expect to see impala, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, monkeys and much more on your morning runs and horse rides.  There are also a host of nocturnal animals which leave their tracks for the eagle eyed nature enthusiasts amongst you.
In addition to the facilities at Quiet Waters and Falcon College, the Quest Africa programme utilises a wide variety of off-site locations for specific disciplines.
Highlights can include the Matobo National Park,  the Eastern Highlands, Hwange National Park, Victoria Falls, Lake Kariba and Lake Malawi.

"Zimbabwe is a hidden gem. The surroundings are stunning and the local people so friendly. Quest is set in the perfect environment for an authentic 'bush' experience for these adventurous young people".(Parent of Mixed Core 2021)- Parent, Quest Esigodini
